The Regional Prevention Coordinator at the Southwest Prevention Center provides regional prevention
services by engaging community members, local organizations, public agencies, youth and the media
to change community conditions that contribute to alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) related
problems. The Southwest Prevention Center RPC serves Region 8, which includes Cleveland and
McClain Counties.
The Southwest Prevention Center (SWPC)
is a department within University OUTREACH,
College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma.
The Regional Prevention Coordinator is funded by
the Oklahoma Department of
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
The OklahomaSPF-SIG Project is funded by SAMSHA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), CSAP (Center for Substance Abuse Prevention) and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
