In the Southwest Prevention Center:
New Mexico Training & Logistics Coordinator (Program Specialist II)
Requistion Number 05994.
Performs professional administrative, logistical and training services for the New Mexico Substance Abuse Prevention Training System.
Works under the supervision of the New Mexico Substance Abuse Prevention Training System Manager.
Assists with training and coordinates overall operations of the administrative office to ensure a smooth work flow. Works in conjunction with other system functional areas as well as the public to carry out Center operations.
Position is located in New Mexico.
Required Skills and Proficiencies:
- Basic knowledge of standard office equipment including photocopier, FAX machine, and laser printer.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated familiarity with adult learning principles, Instructional System Design, and training skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Strategic Prevention Framework.
- Ability to interface effectively with a variety of personnel.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of training needs assessments and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation.
