The 5th annual will be held
April 2010 in Dallas TX
Purpose:
The goal of the Southwest Prevention Center’s 5th Annual Prevention Convention is to provide in-depth, skills-based learning opportunities to advance the field of substance abuse prevention. This annual, prevention-focused conference in the Southwest region is a direct response to current and future needs of the prevention community and is designed to provide a regular forum for the dissemination of the most current research in the field. Conference sessions will provide support not only for the development of basic prevention knowledge, skills, and abilities for newer practitioners, but also for the professional growth of more experienced practitioners.
