Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Position Annoucement


Prevention Program Manager #8105


Job Family and Level (PIN): Prevention Program Manager #8105 Pin #: 4520 - 3200 Unclassified
Position Closing Date: Friday, October 16, 2009 [No later than 5:00 p.m.]
Position Location: Central Office - Prevention, Oklahoma City, OK
Salary Range: $55,000 TO $69,575

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Completion of master's degree in public health, social work, psychology, or a related field and five years of management experience or any related experience.OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Note: No substitution for bachelor's degree.

 

Major Work Duties: Under general supervision of the Prevention Services Director, manage the day to day operation of designated prevention project(s), develop and manage sub-recipient contracts, monitor sub-recipient programs, and develops needed prevention services. Assures compliance with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Services and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) standards and best practice requirements in managing and delivering care in programs.

Additional Factors for Consideration: TIME LIMITED: Based on Grant funding up to a maximum of 4 years Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing. Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
