Trainings Offered

TRAINING

Southwest Prevention Center offers courses and training workshops to support prevention providers and community leaders.  All courses and workshops provide contact hours and CEU credit through the University of Oklahoma OUTREACH College of Continuing Education (CCE). SWPC Continuing Education hours are accepted for CEU's by the following certifying bodies:

• NBCC -  Nat’l Board of Certified Counselors;
• ODAPCA - OK Drug & Alcohol Professional Counselors Association
• TCBAP -  TX Certification Board of Addiction Professionals.
• New Mexico Credentialing Board for Behavioral Health Professionals: Prevention Specialist Certification

Many of these workshops are ideal for inclusion as a pre-conference training in concert with state prevention conferences.
